OBP/DIVEHEART TRAINING
General Information
OBP offers Diveheart Adaptive Buddy, Advanced Buddy and Adaptive Scuba Instructor Training.
OBP works with certified scuba divers and Adaptive Divers (individuals with a disability) to create Adaptive Dive Teams that allow everyone to experience zero gravity underwater. An Adaptive Dive Team consists of the Adaptive Diver, and two Adaptive Dive Buddies. For certified scuba divers, taking a Buddy Course is the first step to becoming part of an Adaptive Dive Team. OBP/Diveheart has several Adaptive Dive Buddy certifications, each building on the other in terms of the experience and responsibility needed by the buddy candidate. OBP's Diveheart Training is arranged and funded by OBP. In order to sign up for the class, e-learning, instruction materials and other materials and information, please sign up on our Wait List and feel free to contact OBP at operationbluepride@gmail.com. Please be sure to include information regarding your certifications, logged dives and number of dives working with adaptive divers. OBP's and Diveheart's goal is to gear your training to your experience.
